A violent "death match" wrestling event is now being investigated by police, after it was performed in front of families with young children.
The wrestling match took place on 29th April at the Conservative Club in Seaham, County Durham. The event organisers, the Colliery Championship Wrestling, did not advertise it as a death match and even offered discounted family tickets.
James Barrass of CCW has since apologised but added that the audience had enjoyed the event.
