Durham Constabulary have released the 999 recording of a domestic violence victim fleeing her abusive partner last year.

Sarah, whose name has been changed to protect her identity, had fled the home she shared with her partner and their baby daughter after he became violent. But he pursued her in his car.

Sarah followed the call handler's instructions as he and fellow colleagues tried to direct officers towards her unknown location.
