Ji Xiaotong and her father Ji Bing are pharmacists at a community health service center in east China's Shanghai while her mother Wu Lizhen is a gynecologist. The entire family is fighting the recent COVID-19 resurgence on the frontline. During the pandemic, many medical workers like Ji's family stayed in the hospital and treated the community as their temporary home, working together to overcome difficulties and curb the spread of COVID-19.
