Trudeau makes announcement, holds news conference with Chilean president Boric | LIVE

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Chilean president Gabriel Boric will make an announcement and hold a media availability following their meeting in Ottawa on Monday.

Minister of Women and Gender Equality and Youth Marci Ien will also be in attendance.

The government website said Trudeau and President Boric will meet to advance shared priorities and address global issues.

They will discuss climate action including ocean protection and pollution pricing, and gender equality.

They will also discuss the Russian war on Ukraine.
