India restricts sugar exports to prevent domestic price hike
Al Jazeera, 01 Jun 2022

As of Wednesday exporters will need special permission to sell any sugar abroad.
The move is being blamed on inflation and a rise in domestic prices.
Al Jazeera’s Pavni Mittal reports from Uttar Pradesh, on how local farmers are feeling the impacts.
