Speaking Tuesday, Canadian Conservative Shadow Minister for Public Safety Raquel Dancho, Conservative Deputy Shadow Minister of Health Stephen Ellis and the Canadian Coast Guard will hold a press conference to respond to the committee hearing about alleged political interference in the 2020 Nova Scotia mass shooting investigation.

Two of the people behind an accusation of political interference in the investigation of the April 2020 mass shooting in Nova Scotia appeared before the House of Commons committee earlier in the day.

Conservatives are expected to express questions and concerns about the possibility a federal cabinet minister may have overstepped their bounds when it came to interference in the mass shooting investigation.

23 people, including the gunman, were killed and three others wounded in the mass shooting on April 18–19, 2020. It remains one of the deadliest mass shooting incidents in Canadian history.
