China completes its 2nd prefabricated cross-sea bridge in Xiamen city

China completed its second fully-prefabricated cross-sea bridge on September 12, 2022. The 12-kilometre (7.46-mile) Xiang’an Bridge is expected to open to traffic before the end of January 2023, when millions of Chinese travel to celebrate Lunar New Year.
