Shadow climate secretary, Ed Miliband, has called on the government to impose a windfall tax on energy companies to pay for a freeze on energy bills.

Mr Miliband also questioned whether Jacob Rees-Mogg was the right person to be in charge of the country's energy policy.

Mr Rees-Mogg has previously decried "climate alarmism".
