German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius is headed to Asia later this week.
He'll begin his trip in Singapore where he'll be participating in the Shangri La Dialogue, a regional security conference. He'll then head to Indonesia and India. His visit comes at a time when Germany along with the European Union is showing a greater interest in the geostrategic situation in the Indo-Pacific. An interest heightened by the COVID pandemic and the war in Ukraine.
