Residents of a village in north-western Spain have joined the fight to extinguish the flames ravaging their fields as a wildfire raged out of control for a second day in the province of Zamora. The wildfire burned 10,000 hectares (24,710 acres) and forced authorities to evacuate 14 villages around the county of Tábara, according to the regional government.
