Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell delivers semiannual monetary policy testimony before the Senate Banking Committee. Last week the Fed hiked the federal funds rate by three-quarters of a percentage point, its largest rate increase since 1994. Economists say it will lift rates by 75 basis points in July, and 50 bps in September.
